Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Senior PNT Engineer to lead modeling and simulation efforts for positioning and navigation systems. You will translate customer needs into strategic objectives, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure timely, technically sound analyses for government partners.

You will oversee development of simulation tools, mentor staff, and present results to technical leads and customers, shaping future space capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive relevant academic, professional, technical work experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, Fortran, or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior technical advisor for PNT architecture and geolocation needs, translating customer requirements into objectives.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams for research, development, and acquisition decisions for navigation and positioning systems.
• Oversee development and sustainment of M&S tools and capabilities, driving innovation for future needs.
• Mentor junior staff and present clear analyses to technical leads, management, and customers.
