Job summary
The Aerospace Corporation seeks a PNT Modeling & Simulation Senior Engineering Specialist to lead development of advanced simulation tools for navigation and positioning systems. This full-time onsite role requires translating customer needs into strategic objectives and delivering rigorous analyses for program offices and government customers.
Minimum 10+ years' experience, BS in a related field, and proficiency with Python/C++/Fortran/MATLAB are required.
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in relevant field and 10+ years' experience.
- Experience in space-related modeling, geolocation, signal processing, or PNT technologies.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, Fortran, or MATLAB.
- Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior technical advisor for department and staff on PNT architecture and geolocation.
- Collaborate with government leaders, contractors, and ETG to deliver analyses and recommendations.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams for research, development and acquisition decisions for navigation systems.
- Oversee the execution of MT&S tools and capabilities, driving innovation to meet future needs.
- Mentor junior staff and maintain bench depth in department capabilities.
- Develop and present timely, technically accurate analyses and reports.
