Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions in Maple Grove, MN seeks a seasoned PMO leader to establish and optimize the customer-facing project management lifecycle for large capital equipment programs. You will report to the Senior Director, Program Management and coach a growing team as revenue expands.

You will implement stage-gate processes, drive on-time NPD, and partner with sales, engineering, procurement and operations to meet commitments and reveal KPIs across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in customer-facing roles.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• 2-3 years minimum of managerial or team lead experience.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects in engineered products.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent) and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• NPD Stage Gate Process: Support and continuously improve the Stage Gate and Deliverable Process.
• New Product Development (NPD): Lead team delivering on-time NPD under budget; +$10M revenue.
• Integrate PMO processes: deploy templates, risk reviews, and design checklists.
• Collaboration with other departments: build cross-functional trust with reporting.
• Support Product Roadmaps: MGPP and MGTP readiness metrics for risks.
• Metrics & Reporting: develop dashboards and align priorities across teams.
• Hire, mentor and develop project managers for larger projects.
• Collaborate with PE-owned companies to share PM best practices.
• Continuous improvement mindset for PM tools and processes.
• Escalate off-track or over-budget projects to the Senior Director.
