Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions seeks a people leader to establish and continuously improve customer-facing project management processes within Gradian Solutions, reporting to the Senior Director, Program Management. The role supports rapid revenue growth from large, capital projects including data centers.

You will hire, mentor, and coach project managers, deploy PMO templates and governance, and collaborate across sales, engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in customer-facing roles.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• 2-3 years minimum of managerial or team lead experience required.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional projects in engineered products.

Responsibilities

• NPD Stage Gate Process: Support and continuously improve the Stage Gate and Deliverable Process.
• New Product Development (NPD): Lead team of project management professionals dedicated to on-time NPD deliveries within budget for key customer programs.
• Integrate PMO processes already in place: Help deploy and reinforce project management processes, templates and tools.
• Collaboration with other departments: Build cross-functional trust and cooperation with colleagues in sales, engineering, procurement and operations through transparent status reporting and accountability to commitments.
• Support Development and Adoption of and Adherence to Product Roadmaps: The team will be responsible for Product Roadmaps and MGTP readiness metrics.
• Metrics & Reporting: Develop dashboards for key KPIs on customer projects and support prioritization framework.
• Hire, mentor and develop project managers to maximize performance for customers.
• Collaborate with Private Equity-backed companies to share best practices in PM.
• Develop a continuous improvement mindset in project management by evaluating processes and tools.
• Escalate to the Senior Director any off-track or over-budget projects.
