Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions is seeking a Senior ETO Project Manager in Maple Grove, MN. This role leads complex, high-value projects from pursuit through field handoff, partnering with Sales and Applications to ensure readiness for production and commissioning.

The ideal candidate combines engineering credibility with project-management excellence, holds a PMP or equivalent certification, and has a track record managing $5M+ programs across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in ETO, custom-engineered, or complex industrial manufacturing (e.g., HVAC, thermal management).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or closely related technical discipline.
• PMP certification (PMI) or similar formal project management certification required.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects of $5M or greater; proficiency in MS Office Suite and Gantt-style scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to assess scope feasibility, schedule risk, and resources before commitments.
• Lead customer meetings and manage RFI/Submittal processes with PMO-standard tools.
• Own scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality across the full lifecycle for a concurrent portfolio of ETO projects.
• Develop detailed project schedules and coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QA, and Logistics.
• Track budgets, manage change orders, and report portfolio-level financial risks to leadership.
• Oversee end-to-end production-to-shipment coordination and commissioning handoff quality.
• Mentor PM staff and Project Coordinators; drive process improvements and PMO framework enhancements.
