Job summary

AMERICAN VANGUARD is seeking a PMO Manager (Program Management Office) tolead a portfolio of strategic projects at the Irvine, CA corporate office. The role focuses on program governance, risk management and executive reporting to enable value realization across Business Units.

You will oversee interdependencies, budget tracking, and standardization of PMO processes, partnering with Finance and HR to drive change management and adoption across global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in complex program management with risk mitigation and governance.
• Skilled in using project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
• Strong background in understanding financial reporting, EBITIDA, gross margins and profit margins.

Responsibilities

• Monitor KPIs, timing, dependencies, issues and risks across BUs and workstreams.
• Aggregate end-to-end reporting on program progress for the Board and Leadership.
• Deliver monthly dashboards and KPI reports for stakeholders and leadership meetings.
• Manage overall program budget tracking, forecast variances and reporting against business cases.
• Establish and improve PMO standards, templates and governance for a scalable operating model.
