Job summary

BD in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Program & Portfolio Leader to drive the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of complex programs from initiation to completion. You will partner with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives, deliver business value, and ensure alignment with priorities.

You will mentor project managers, manage resources across the portfolio, and champion governance practices to improve organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, cross-functional, and enterprise-wide programs and portfolios to achieve business objectives and organizational goals.
• Develop, evaluate, and facilitate approval of complex business cases, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and expected business outcomes.
• Coordinate resources across multiple projects and programs to optimize delivery and maximize organizational effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, proactively managing expectations, communications, and engagement.
• Develop and manage integrated program plans, including key milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
• Govern program scope, schedule, budget, quality, contracts, and change control processes to ensure successful execution.
• Monitor program performance, identify and mitigate risks and issues, and provide accurate, timely status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive program benefit realization and work closely with business partners to resolve issues and achieve intended outcomes.
