Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Management to lead a newly formed PMO, driving cross-division initiatives and high-priority projects with a sharp focus on strategy and execution. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the company to deliver impactful results and shape governance and process improvements.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong track record in project management, leadership, and communication, with experience coaching teams and managing complex programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• At least 8 years of Project Management experience.
• At least 1 year of People Management experience.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree; PMP/Lean/Agile/Six Sigma certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs with strategic direction.
• Design, develop, and manage project plans in a dynamic environment.
• Manage scope, schedule, resources, budget, and communicate status and risks.
• Ensure proper project documentation to mitigate risk and meet deadlines.
• Partner cross-functionally with project customers to drive delivery.
• Coach and develop associates and lead cross-functional teams.
