Job summary

Morningstar in Chicago is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead GTM strategy, positioning, and demand generation for AI Solutions and Direct Web Services. Translate product ideas into compelling value propositions and partner with cross-functional teams.

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing for Data and Research, you’ll collaborate with Campaign Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Product, Research, Sales and Client Service to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in product marketing or management in financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.
• Ability to execute complex campaigns and messaging.
• Experience with AI-powered products a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to position products and drive demand.
• Comfort translating data into customer value.

Responsibilities

• Develop positioning, messaging, objection handling, content and sales tools reflecting client segments and personas.
• Dive into data-driven initiatives to define product marketing strategy and assets.
• Incorporate client feedback into marketing materials through collaboration with client-facing teams.
• Craft and execute GTM for new product releases with content and resources for sales.
• Collaborate with 3rd party partners to plan co-marketing activities.
• Develop revenue-generating sales plays and targeted client lists.
• Create persona-based demand generation campaigns with the campaign manager.
• Leverage thought leadership across digital, events, and media platforms.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
