Job summary

Macy’s is looking for a Senior, Project Management to lead construction and capital projects, coordinating with stores and suppliers to meet timelines, budgets, and quality goals. This role drives customer experience improvements and cost-saving initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The senior will mentor project managers, manage phasing plans, and work across Stores, Strategic Procurement, Energy, Risk Management, Capital Planning, and Capital Control to align stakeholders and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience administering construction and capital projects from inception to turnover.
• Strong budget, cost estimation, and forecasting capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support capital approval processes with budget and scope development.
• Oversee construction, bidding, and administration while tracking budgets.
• Build relationships with Macy’s departments and external partners.
• Lead initiatives to refine project operations and processes.
• Collaborate with store, district, and regional teams to resolve issues.
• Mentor Project Managers and ensure reliable attendance and accountability.
