Job summary

Hippo Insurance seeks a Lead Product Manager for the Quoting Platform to own the end-to-end lifecycle, drive AI-enabled quoting across channels, and partner with engineering, distribution, and business teams. Qualifications

• 7+ years in product management with end-to-end lifecycle ownership.
• Experience owning API-heavy or integration-dense platforms with vendors/APIs.
• Proven channel or distribution partnerships experience.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical requirements for engineering.
• Track record of improving distribution metrics and conversion rates.
• Strong data-driven decision making and metric ownership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or adjacent industries.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle for the quoting and distribution platform.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with Engineering, Partnerships, Marketing, and Insurance teams.
• Translate requirements into PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive metrics like GWP growth and quote-to-bind conversion.
• Bridge distribution, sales, and engineering to align partner needs with tech.
• Build strong partnerships with distribution partners and agents.
• Communicate strategy, tradeoffs, and outcomes to leadership.
• Evolve the platform to be faster, more reliable, and AI-enabled.
• Own API/integrations layer, data quality, and governance.
