Job summary

Metric Geo, a well-established engineering and infrastructure consulting firm in Detroit, seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex municipal infrastructure programs. You will oversee delivery, client relations, budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence and contract compliance.

The role requires a PE license, a Bachelor’s in engineering, and 8+ years of relevant experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to manage client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• PE license is required.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
• Experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, leadership and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of assigned engineering projects and programs.
• Develop client relationships and serve as senior point of contact.
• Identify opportunities with existing and prospective clients and support business development.
• Participate in scope, budgets, deliverables, and contractual discussions.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Assemble and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and partners.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to technical, production, and support staff.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget, and financial performance.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to ensure delivery.
• Ensure quality standards and contractual compliance across projects.
• Provide regular status updates to management and clients.
• Lead or participate in client meetings, workshops, and reviews.
• Mentor engineers and staff and support professional development.
