Scribd, Inc. is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for Everand and Fable, leading a cross-functional team across engineering, design, research, and data. You will balance big bets with ongoing experiments to improve engagement and craft experiences that blend design, editorial insight, and algorithms.

You will work with ML-powered recommendations, search, and ranking features, with a focus on delightful user experiences for readers and subscribers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management for consumer products at scale.
• Experience with native mobile apps and subscriptions is a plus.
• Proven track record turning major pain points into product strategy and an opinionated roadmap.
• Fluency partnering with engineers and data scientists on ML experiences (recommendations, search, ranking).
• Strong quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication, with clear writing and prioritization.
• Passion for books and reading.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, vision, and roadmap for squad across Everand and Fable.
• Lead a cross-functional squad with engineering, design, research, and data.
• Balance large swing investments with continuous experimentation to improve engagement metrics.
• Balance qualitative and quantitative data to guide decision-making.
• Partner with data science and engineering on recommendation, ranking, and search systems.
• Create experiences blending design, editorial insight, and algorithmic thinking to help readers find new reads.
