Job summary

Ambassador Search Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its Burlingame, CA operations to lead a PM department focused on high-end residential projects. You’ll manage client relations, subs, and design teams while building a scalable PM team and robust processes.

You’ll drive cost control, develop PMs and APMs, and own weekly rhythm, scorecards, and budget reviews. Candidates should have 10+ years in PM with a track record in $5–$25M homes and strong commercial judgment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction project management leading three or more PMs on $5M–$25M high-end residential projects.
• Track record of building decision rights and running a weekly operating rhythm.
• Executive presence with high-net-worth clients, architects, and designers.
• Strong commercial judgment on contracts, change orders, and subcontracts.
• Experience growing APMs into PMs and owning project P&L; proficiency with ProContractor/Procore/Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PM department end to end, defining rhythm, standards, cost control, and PM/APM development.
• Own client, subs, vendors, and design-team relationships; approve commercial commitments.
• Own development plans for PMs and Lead PM tier; promote APM career progression.
• Oversee weekly PM meetings, scorecards, budget reviews, and project-level P&L.
