Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is partnering with a premier builder in California to recruit a Senior Project Manager for multi-million-dollar high-end residential projects. You will lead from pre-construction through completion, coordinating clients, architects, engineers, and design teams to maintain design intent, budget integrity, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience within residential construction, with a focus on high-end custom homes.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract management.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, Bluebeam, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases, including pre-construction, estimating, bidding, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and closeout.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring coordination between field operations and key milestones.
• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, architects, engineers, and design teams, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
• Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, invoice approvals, and change order management.
• Review, negotiate, and manage subcontract agreements; lead subcontractor bidding and selection processes.
• Partner with the Site Superintendent to ensure quality control, schedule adherence, and alignment with design intent.
