Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Manager of Project Management for Transmission Line Projects within Power Grid Operations. You will lead a portfolio of transmission line initiatives, align resources, and drive governance, standards, and performance across teams.

You will coach PM professionals, manage scope, cost, schedule, risk, and stakeholder engagement, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years of related experience; or 13 years with HS diploma.
• Ten+ years of related experience preferred; advanced degree encouraged.
• Experience in high-voltage transmission or regulated utility (4+ years).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of transmission line projects.
• Implement PM strategies, standards, tools, and governance.
• Provide leadership and develop PM professionals.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholders.
• Lead gate reviews and portfolio reviews for decision making.
• Foster safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
