Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee and assist in all phases of project planning and execution. You will lead cross-functional teams on multiple moderately complex projects, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality targets are met.

Hybrid work arrangement with travel about 15-25% is typical, and relocation assistance may be provided. Basic qualifications include an associate degree and 2 years of related experience, with preferred PM certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree or equivalent education with related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or PM certifications are preferred for career progression.
• PMI certifications (CAPM/PMP) and PE license add strongly to qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project planning, execution, and reporting.
• Manage cross-functional teams across engineering, controls, and operations.
• Ensure scope, schedule, cost, safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and present status updates to stakeholders and governance.
