Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead the execution of multiple transmission projects. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage lifecycle from planning through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in electric utility project work and 7+ years in PM of transmission projects, with strong leadership and client liaison skills. Hybrid work arrangement with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the electric utility industry (engineering, construction, planning).
• 7+ years of experience in project management of Utility Transmission projects.
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a lead or support role.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team setting.
• PMP certification and construction/start-up experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and external departments to manage project execution lifecycle.
• Oversee project execution, contract administration, planning and resource management.
• Own performance including safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client experience.
• Direct the project team; mentor and coach team members.
• Develop positive client relationships with functional leads and stakeholders.
• Lead efforts to complete projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Support KPI reporting for schedule, budget and dashboard items.
• Identify and control risks and changes.
• Prepare clear project reports and communicate with stakeholders.
