Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager for industrial EPC projects in Houston. The role requires onsite work with significant travel, overseeing electrical or mechanical construction from preconstruction through closeout.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain client relationships while driving safety and quality across complex facilities. A PMP and OSHA familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years in electrical, mechanical, industrial, utility, or EPC construction with large-scale projects.
• Proven success leading multimillion-dollar projects with financial and operational accountability.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, scheduling, procurement, risk mitigation, and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for large-scale electrical, mechanical, or industrial construction projects from preconstruction to closeout.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, profitability, and change orders while identifying risks.
• Direct and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet objectives and schedules.
• Build relationships with clients, owners, and stakeholders and lead contract negotiations and issue resolution.
• Oversee scheduling, procurement, labor productivity, and material management for efficiency.
• Ensure safety standards, OSHA regulations, and quality requirements across sites.
• Mentor project managers and engineers and drive process improvements and growth.
