Job summary

Jobot is seeking an accomplished engineering leader to oversee high‑voltage transmission and distribution projects from design through closeout. You will guide engineering teams, coordinate with external partners, and collaborate with operations, field crews, and clients to deliver safe, high‑quality results.

Requirements include 10+ years in engineering or engineering management, an engineering degree (PE preferred), and a track record leading complex utilities projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering or engineering management experience in utility or high-voltage infrastructure.
• Engineering degree or relevant work experience required; PE license preferred.
• Strong background in transmission, distribution, substation, utilities, civil, or electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts across all project phases and support field operations as needed.
• Oversee external engineering firms, set performance expectations, and review deliverables.
• Maintain engineering standards, documentation practices, and quality controls.
• Forecast resource needs, manage staffing plans, and mentor engineering team members.
• Support proposal development, customer meetings, and overall project planning.
• Drive process improvements and integrate new technologies into engineering workflows.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and technical excellence.
• Stay current on industry codes, best practices, and emerging trends.
