Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for heavy civil construction to oversee civil projects from cradle to grave on-site.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and site safety while coordinating with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to deliver on time and within scope. The role requires significant field leadership, strong communication, and the ability to read complex grading and utility plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil project management experience.
• Ability to read grading and utility plans and geotechnical data.
• Knowledge of earthwork equipment and site utilities.
• Strong safety knowledge and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong math ability and problem solving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to lead crews.

Responsibilities

• Attend client and subcontractor meetings to capture project requirements.
• Compare budget and bid documents for alignment.
• Develop site-specific project plans and schedules.
• Inspect shop drawings, manufacturing, and installations.
• Lead subcontractors and on-site supervision.
• Obtain permits, licenses, access, and project approvals.
• Coordinate and lead field superintendents on projects.
• Anticipate problems and proactively solve issues.
• Evaluate quantity take-offs and earthwork metrics.
