Job summary

StevenDouglas is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple site development and heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will mentor the PM team, manage scope, schedule, budget, safety and quality, and act as the primary liaison with clients and authorities.

Responsibilities include leading all project phases, negotiating contracts, approving buyouts, and proactively mitigating risks to protect margins and schedule.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent).
• 7+ years of progressive PM experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, and roadways.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L, cost reporting and forecasting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Project, HCSS, AGTEK, Bluebeam, Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of heavy civil projects from award to closeout.
• Review contracts and change orders to protect project interests.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting cost, schedule, or quality.
• Mentor project management staff and support business development.
• Serve as primary liaison with clients, engineers, and regulators.
