Job summary

Our client is a heavy civil and environmental contractor in the Southeast seeking Project Managers at the APM, PM, and Senior PM levels to lead large-scale projects from mobilization through closeout. Projects range from $20 million to $250 million, including CCR/coal ash, landfill, and site development work.

The role requires on-site leadership, strong financial acumen, and the ability to manage long-duration power plant projects with close collaboration with the VP of Operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Senior APM, or Senior PM in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with large-scale earthwork, environmental construction, underground utilities, paving, or related heavy civil work.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, budgets, cost control, billing, change orders and overall financial performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Lead project teams including Superintendents, Foremen, equipment operators, and other field personnel.
• Oversee large-scale earthmoving and environmental construction operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners and clients.
• Coordinate mobilization, execution, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and project closeout.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
