Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up multifamily projects across California. You will oversee projects from planning through completion, ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence, and manage client relations on diverse sites from San Diego to the Bay Area.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CM or related field, at least 5 years in construction PM, OSHA 10, and strong skills in estimation, scheduling, contracts, RFIs, and submittals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• OSHA 10 Certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Experience in project estimation and scheduling.
• Proficiency in contract administration, change orders, RFI management, and submittal management.
• Knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
• Prepare and negotiate terms of all project agreements and ensure all parties understand scope and contract.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including schedule, budget, and work breakdown structure.
• Develop and maintain project financial reports to track progress against the budget.
• Manage and respond to project changes, risks, and quality control issues.
• Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Handle environmental or local community issues that arise during a project.
• Directly communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations and to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Implementing and ensuring compliance with OSHA 10 safety regulations.
• Effectively manage project change orders and RFIs.
• Coordinate and manage project submittals and ensure all documents are accurate and submitted on time.
