Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead ground-up multifamily construction projects. This permanent role offers a strong compensation package with bonus and a company vehicle/allowance.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction, 2+ years as PM, a relevant degree, and proven leadership. You will manage budgets, schedules, site visits, and coordinate with architects and engineers to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in construction and 2 years as a Project Manager who has run a ground up multifamily project.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale multifamily construction projects from start to finish.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the entire lifecycle of multifamily construction projects, from initial conception to final completion.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
• Managing the budget, timeline, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conducting regular site visits to monitor the project and make necessary adjustments.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Resolving any issues or delays that may affect the timeline of the project.
• Communicating effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders to keep them informed about the project progress.
• Preparing and presenting project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
• Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
