Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Manager for Fremont, CA to lead multifamily and mixed-use construction projects on-site. The role oversees planning to completion, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget, with a focus on safety and quality standards.

Strong communication with clients and subcontractors is essential for success. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field, with 5+ years’ PM experience and OSHA 10 certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Current OSHA 10 Certification is REQUIRED.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
• Prepare and negotiate the terms of all project agreements and ensure all parties understand both the scope and limitations of the contract.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including but not limited to, project schedule, budget, and work breakdown structure.
• Develop and maintain project financial reports to track the progress of the project against the budget.
• Manage and respond to project changes, risks, and quality control issues.
• Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Directly communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations and to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and manage project submittals and ensure all documents are accurate and submitted on time.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

OSHA 10 Certification

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
