Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead Strategic Communications ground terminal modernization efforts. You will oversee program execution, strategy, and cross-functional leadership across RTX and partners to ensure successful delivery and customer alignment.

The role emphasizes strong PM practices, risk mitigation, and executive communication, with onsite work in Largo, FL or Marlborough, MA and up to 10% travel. relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in government, defense, aerospace or related industry.
• Experience with Government contracting requirements and the DoD acquisition management process.
• Experience leading development and production programs.
• Strong command of PM best practices to enhance program execution with experience managing program management tools (R/O Management, Cost and Schedule Management, Earned Value Management).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with Government budgeting and the acquisition process from the Government perspective.
• Knowledge of the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.

Responsibilities

• Assure on-time execution of contracts and proposal submittals; lead cross-functional teams.
• Manage requirements and contract changes; empower teams to meet objectives.
• Drive tactical execution while aligning with strategic goals and budgets.
• Establish program metrics, milestones, and adherence to schedules and costs.
• Develop and present the Annual Operating Plan and long-term financial outlook.
• Collaborate across RTX and subcontractors to ensure program success and resource alignment.
• Establish roadmaps to reduce costs, improve performance, and win competitions.
• Provide leadership to direct and indirect reports and maintain customer relationships.
