Job summary

Material is hiring a Sr. Associate, Program Management for a hybrid role based near offices in New York City, Los Angeles, or Austin. You will own day-to-day execution, manage client relationships across multiple workstreams, and lead cross-functional teams while leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of program management experience in an agency, tech company, or media environment, demonstrating autonomy, strong communication, and a bias for action.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of program/project management experience in an agency, fast-paced tech company, or media environment.
• Proven autonomy & initiative: able to own and lead teams with minimal oversight.
• AI tools familiarity (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to boost productivity.
• Multi-discipline PM experience across Brand Design, Social, Web Dev, Research, Strategy.
• Flawless communication with strong attention to detail and client interactions.
• Drive & accountability with a self-starter attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead smaller, targeted projects from kickoff through delivery.
• Oversee day-to-day execution across diverse deliverables (Brand Design, Social, Web, Research, Strategy).
• Integrate AI capabilities to streamline PM tasks and communication.
• Manage client relationships and set expectations with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare detailed project plans, milestones, workstreams, and budgets; track progress.
