Job summary

Complex is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional programs from strategy through execution in Los Angeles. This role is an independent contributor responsible for aligning stakeholders, establishing program structure, managing dependencies and risks, and delivering across Product, Engineering, Data, UX, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Legal, Events, and external partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in program management or related fields with ownership of complex, cross-functional programs.
• Proven ability to independently lead large, high-visibility programs with multiple teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in evolving environments with changing priorities and ambiguity.
• Strong strategic thinking, planning, and ability to translate business objectives into execution plans.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and executive audiences.
• Strong executive presence and ability to drive decisions without direct authority.
• Ability to influence across functions including Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional programs from planning through execution with clear goals and milestones.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, UX, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Legal, Events, and external partners to drive alignment.
• Develop program plans, roadmaps, timelines, dependency maps, and status trackers.
• Establish governance and operating mechanisms for accountability and transparent decision-making.
• Facilitate executive meetings, document decisions and next steps, and drive closure.
• Own program-level visibility, tracking milestones, risks, issues, and delivery health.
• Anticipate risks and dependencies and drive cross-functional mitigation strategies.
• Translate business objectives and requirements into clear plans for technical teams.
• Prepare executive-ready status updates, dashboards, and leadership-facing materials.
• Lead readiness for product launches and major releases; manage 0-to-1 initiatives when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve program-management processes and cross-functional collaboration.
