Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to own and drive the integrated delivery plan for critical customer programs. You will translate commitments into milestones, assign owners, and align milestones across new product introduction, qualification, supply readiness, and production ramp with customer schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex programs across multiple businesses, functions, or geographies.
• Experience with hardware development, qualification, and production ramps, preferably in optical line system and coherent modem/pluggable industries.
• Strong planning, risk assessment and recovery execution capabilities.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and resolve competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the integrated program delivery plan.
• Translate commitments into milestones, deliverables, owners and acceptance criteria.
• Connect milestones for new product introduction, qualification, supply readiness, and production ramp to customer schedules.
• Track performance and drive corrective actions with execution teams.
• Lead weekly reviews for commitments, delivery performance, risks, and decisions.
• Maintain a consolidated, fact-based view of program health including backlog and revenue at risk.
• Prepare and present program updates for executive reviews.
• Identify and mitigate risks with owners and completion dates.
• Support leadership with timely, accurate program communications on status and risk.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve delivery processes and scale program management.
• Coach and mentor team members on planning, risk management, and escalation.
