We are a team of professionals delivering entitlement, development, design, and construction management services. The Senior Construction/Project Management professional will lead large educational facility projects, including LAUSD collaborations, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with District standards and strong stakeholder coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Fifteen (15) years full time paid professional experience in Construction/Project and Construction Management; at least 5 of 15+ years coordinating complex projects over $20M.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management from a recognized college or university.
• CCM credential from CMAA may substitute for the education requirement.

Aufgaben

• Manage pre-construction, bid and award, construction and close-out phases of all assigned projects.
• Review pre-construction documents and submit comments to Designer as necessary.
• Prepare reports for upper management on project status and progress.
• Coordinate with public agencies during pre-construction and construction to comply with off-site work; liaise with District staff.
• Manage project budget and schedule to meet District standards; monitor budget monthly and reflect status.
• Review contractor schedules and submittals; respond to RFCs and related documents.
• Review subcontractor substitutions to ensure District requirements are met.
• Review Change Order proposals to ensure fair pricing; address schedule impacts.
• Monitor payments to contractors, architects and other parties.
• Administer Professional Service Agreements between Architects and the District.
• Coordinate delivery of fixtures, furniture and equipment by the District.
• Monitor project close-out with DSA and financial close-out.

Ausbildung

Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management

Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential may substitute for education
