Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead technical tenting, temporary structures, and site installations from survey through strike. The role acts as the technical authority in client and production meetings, balancing the customer Vision with site constraints, safety, schedule, and profitability.

This hands-on, operations-forward position requires on-site leadership, coordination with venues and vendors, and strong CAD/Vectorworks/AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in tenting, temporary structures, or event-production installations.
• Strong ability to plan installation sequencing and vendor management.
• Experience coordinating engineering drawings and permitting.
• Ability to explain technical recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery meetings and site surveys.
• Evaluate access, grade, utilities, and venue restrictions.
• Recommend tent structures and flooring solutions.
• Produce CAD drawings with CAD/Vectorworks/AutoCAD.
• Coordinate stamped engineering drawings when required.
• Manage permitting and compliance documentation.
• Plan labor, equipment, and production timelines with teams.
• Provide on-site leadership during installations and strikes.
• Lead crews in the field through direction (no direct reports).
• Maintain project files and job-costing information.
• Lead post-event debriefs and improve plans.
