Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is partnering with an established family‑oriented electrical contractor in Ocala, FL to hire a Senior Project Manager for commercial electrical construction. This onsite role manages a PM team, oversees multiple projects from kickoff to closeout, and ensures safety, schedule, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of commercial electrical construction project management, with ~3+ years in leadership.
• Experience overseeing PMs, foremen and field teams.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, job costing, and profitability.
• Knowledge of submittals, RFIs, change orders, and procurement.
• Procore experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the commercial electrical PM team with accountability and direction.
• Oversee multiple commercial electrical projects from estimating handoff to closeout.
• Assign PMs, foremen, and field resources based on project needs and schedules.
• Monitor budgets, labor hours, WIP, billing, costs, and profitability to hit targets.
• Drive manpower planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across projects.
• Identify risks and resolve scheduling, material, staffing, and field challenges.
• Oversee procurement, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contract requirements.
• Collaborate with field leadership, estimators, vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors for project execution.
• Develop PMs and strengthen processes, financial accountability, and team performance.
• Serve as primary decision-maker for day-to-day operations with escalation to leadership as needed.
