Job summary

Tri-City Electrical Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Project Manager in Florida to oversee large electrical construction projects from initiation through closeout.

You will define scope, manage budgets, develop schedules, and coordinate procurement, subcontracting, and field teams to meet timelines and budgets. The role requires deep understanding of electrical construction, strong leadership, and extensive experience in budgeting, estimating, and client relations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Nine plus years managing commercial electrical projects over $10M
• Familiar with Local & National Electrical Code requirements
• Experience with Accubid, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs
• Knowledge of math for estimating labor/materials
• Excellent English reading/writing at high school level
• Valid Florida driver's license
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and team structure
• Review initial job estimates and own budgeting projections
• Prepare layouts and construction drawings
• Identify materials/equipment per plans and specs
• Develop budgets and cost codes; draft proposals and scopes
• Create project schedules; track manpower and cash flow
• Coordinate procurement and subcontracts; manage vendors
• Lead project meetings and report on delays/acceleration
• Ensure safety standards compliance and project closeout
• Maintain strong client and partner relationships
