Job summary

ForTecMedical is seeking an experienced Project Manager in IT to lead business process and systems initiatives across departments. This role focuses on optimizing processes, documenting requirements, and delivering enterprise-wide improvements aligned with strategic objectives.

Collaboration with business leaders, IT Architecture, and engineering is essential to success. The role involves overseeing discovery, planning, UAT, and rollout activities, ensuring measurable outcomes and value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive professional experience in business operations, project management, process improvement, or a related field.
• Experience managing projects or cross-functional initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, deliverables, timelines, and priorities.
• Experience collaborating across business functions and utilizing business analysis, process mapping, project management, and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Strengths in business process analysis, process improvement, project management, requirements development, future-state solution design, or related disciplines.
• Working knowledge of enterprise business systems, with the ability to understand system functionality, integrations, data flows and business impacts.
• Experience in a complex, multi-location, or growing organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned initiatives and projects throughout their lifecycle, from discovery and planning through implementation and close.
• Coordinate activities across business stakeholders, SDI team members, IT Architecture, Engineering, and external partners to ensure clear requirements and responsibilities.
• Coordinate business validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with appropriate stakeholders.
• Support rollout planning, communication, training, change management, and evaluation of business outcomes.
• Lead current-state discovery, analysis, and documentation of workflows, rules, roles, and system interactions.
