Job summary

Rent the Runway is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Bag, Checkout & Payments to own the core transactional experiences across the digital storefront. You will drive the strategy for bag, checkout flows, and payments, partnering with Engineering, Design, Data, Finance, and Operations to simplify complex shopping journeys and improve conversion and revenue.

You will lead with customer-centric thinking, rigorous analytics, and technical fluency to deliver reliable, scalable checkout experiences

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Experience building/evolving ecommerce checkout or payments.
• Customer-obsessed with a strong product sense.
• Analytical with ability to define metrics and track impact.
• Technical fluency to partner with engineering on system dependencies and payments.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for bag, checkout, and payments across RTR journeys.
• Identify friction points to improve conversion from bag to order.
• Collaborate with Design/Research to create seamless checkout experiences.
• Lead development/optimization of payment experiences, including method selection and processing.
• Define success metrics and run experiments to improve conversion and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Eng/Finance/Ops to ensure reliable, scalable systems.
