Job summary

Rent the Runway is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Bag, Checkout & Payments to own strategy and execution of core transactional experiences across our digital storefront. You will lead bag, checkout flows, and payment systems to help customers complete purchases and subscriptions with confidence, driving conversion, revenue, and satisfaction.

Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, Finance and Operations to simplify shopping and payment experiences, improve reliability, and explore

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience owning consumer-facing digital products from discovery through launch and optimization.
• Experience building or improving e-commerce, checkout, or payment flows and understanding their impact on business metrics.
• Customer-obsessed with strong product sense and ability to translate insights into elegant solutions.
• Highly analytical with ability to define success metrics, analyze funnels, and interpret experiment results.
• Technically fluent and able to partner with engineering on system dependencies and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for bag, checkout, and payments across RTR’s shopping journey.
• Identify opportunities to reduce friction and improve conversion from bag to order.
• Partner with Design and Research to create intuitive, cohesive experiences that build customer confidence.
• Lead the development and optimization of payment experiences, including method selection and processing workflows.
• Define success metrics and build an experimentation roadmap using A/B testing and funnel analysis.
• Collaborate with Engineering to evolve checkout and payments systems for reliability and scalability.
• Translate customer insights into actionable product opportunities and prioritize cross-functional work.
• Communicate progress and trade-offs to stakeholders and leadership.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and opportunities to enhance shopping experiences.
