Job summary

Ambience Healthcare seeks a Product Manager for Ambulatory Coding to own the primary care coding product end-to-end, from discovery through delivery. You will work with Engineering, Clinical AI, and GTM teams to drive accurate CPT coding, including E/M levels and modifiers, while reducing manual work for clinicians and coding staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience with ownership from discovery to delivery.
• Proven ability to learn a complex domain fast and earn trust of domain experts.
• Strong technical fluency with AI/ML products, data, APIs and integrations.
• Experience building products for workflows with multiple users or stakeholders where accuracy matters.
• Strong written communication and product judgment; comfortable operating in ambiguity.
• Based in SF and able to be in the office 3x/week.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the ambulatory coding roadmap for primary care and beyond.
• Understand how clinicians, coders and revenue-cycle teams document, code, review, and bill; decide what to build next.
• Own the clinician and coding-team experience from recommendations at the point of care to writeback in Epic workflows.
• Collaborate with ambulatory teams to ensure coding uses the right clinical context without adding work for clinicians.
• Partner with Engineering, Clinical AI and coding experts to improve accuracy and coverage across code sets.
• Establish evaluation criteria for coding accuracy, encounter completeness and reliability of Epic writeback.
• Define when a coding recommendation requires human review vs. automated processing and validate with customers.
• Build scalable approaches for adding new code families rather than treating each as a separate product.
