Job summary

MaintainX is hiring a Principal Product Manager to own LLMX, its internal AI platform for runtime, orchestration, evaluation, and observability. This high-leverage role sits at the intersection of AI systems and business impact, requiring both deep technical AI know-how and a commercial mindset.

Based in a hybrid setting, you will influence the platform that powers every AI feature across product teams and enterprise buyers, shaping model strategy, governance, and user outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, with AI platform, ML infrastructure, or developer platform experience.
• Shipped production AI services that other teams built on, earning trust.
• Strong opinions on model selection, RAG vs. fine-tuning, and latency/cost optimization.
• Comfortable serving internal teams and enterprise buyers with outcomes in mind.
• Data-driven by default: you define success in metrics and instrument your platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the LLMX roadmap end to end, driving adoption and quality across metrics.
• Define platform primitives: routing agents, skill orchestration, human-in-the-loop workflows, memory, and comprehensive UI interfaces.
• Own the platform's evaluation infrastructure, including online eval monitoring and agent gating.
• Collaborate across MaintainX's product org to anticipate needs before blockers.
• Shape build vs. buy vs. integrate decisions for models, providers, and infrastructure.
