Job summary

DesignForce seeks a Senior Plumbing Engineer to join our collaborative MEP team. You will own plumbing design and documentation across the full project lifecycle.

Lead complex assignments, mentor juniors, and coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other disciplines to deliver sound, code‑compliant solutions.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, at least four years of plumbing design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least four years of plumbing design experience.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and documentation practices.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
• Experience developing coordinated construction documents and supporting projects through construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing engineering calculations for domestic water, sanitary waste, gas, piping, and system sizing.
• Develop coordinated plans, diagrams, and specifications for plumbing, process and fluid-flow, fire-suppression, and general piping systems.
• Coordinate plumbing designs with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and other disciplines.
• Produce project deliverables using AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and other design tools.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, permits, and internal CAD/BIM standards.
• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, calculations, and supporting documentation.
