EXP is seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer to lead the Plumbing team across projects in the Washington DC, Fairfax, or Towson MD area. The role requires mentoring junior staff, ensuring code compliance, and developing engineered plumbing solutions for complex building environments.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and be able to direct other individuals in the design of plumbing systems.
• PE license is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar plumbing engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor plumbing engineers and designers on project teams.
• Review code-related items to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform life cycle cost analyses and energy/cost calculations for plumbing systems.
• Develop and monitor plumbing work plans in coordination with project managers.
• Write new specification sections and details for project needs.
• Manage multiple projects within budgeted hours and deliverables.
