Job summary

EXP is seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer to join its Plumbing team, based in the Washington DC, Fairfax, or Towson MD area. You will lead plumbing design efforts on complex projects, mentor staff, and ensure code compliance while developing detailed specifications and robust cost analyses.

Ideal candidates have at least 10 years of plumbing engineering experience, strong communication skills, and fluency with AutoCAD and Revit. PE license is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Ten years of plumbing engineering and design experience.
• Experience on transit, aviation or commercial building projects is preferred.
• PE license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior engineers and designers on project tasks.
• Review code-related items with engineers to ensure compliance.
• Perform at a responsible charge level of design and quality.
• QC all work of plumbing engineering staff.
• Develop and monitor plumbing work plans with PM.
• Write new specification sections and details for project needs.
