Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Plumber Technician to provide technical oversight, inspection, and QA for plumbing systems on federal construction projects at Fort Hood, TX.

You will review installations, ensure compliance with IPC/UFC, and support project teams throughout construction. The role emphasizes testing, commissioning, and reporting, with collaboration from project managers, engineers, and government representatives.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of IPC, UFC and applicable plumbing standards.
• Experience reviewing construction plans and contract docs.
• Experience with inspections, acceptance testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Review plumbing system installations for compliance with codes and contract requirements.
• Inspect, test, and commission plumbing systems on federal construction projects.
• Prepare technical reports with corrective actions for deficient conditions.
• Provide guidance to project teams on design and construction practices.
• Schedule and conduct final acceptance tests of plumbing systems.
• Respond to RFIs and review scopes of work for field changes.
