Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Plumber Technician to oversee plumbing systems on federal construction projects at Fort Hood, TX. You will review installations, ensure compliance with IPC/UFC, perform inspections and testing, and provide technical recommendations throughout construction.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid plumbing license, and at least 10 years in plumbing-related roles. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Plumbing License required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in plumbing installation, inspection, testing, or construction oversight.
• Thorough knowledge of IPC, UFC, and applicable plumbing standards.
• Experience reviewing construction plans, specifications, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of International Plumbing Codes and UFC.
• Attend meetings to discuss features of work and ensure project success.
• Perform reviews with teammates applying lessons learned.
• Schedule and conduct plumbing systems inspections across facilities.
• Evaluate compliance with codes and contract requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical reports with corrective actions for deficiencies.
• Provide guidance on work practices and plumbing system design.
