Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a skilled Plumber II to lead plumbing projects, perform advanced installations, repairs and maintenance, and troubleshoot complex piping systems. The role requires extensive knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards, with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

You will supervise junior plumbers, estimate materials and labor, and coordinate with clients and contractors to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Extensive experience interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials and tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specs to plan layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team on requirements, timelines, progress.
• Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems: pipes, fixtures, drains, water heaters.
• Cut, thread, bend pipes; weld or solder using approved methods.
