Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a highly skilled Plumber II to lead plumbing projects, perform advanced installations, repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plumbing codes, strong problem-solving and leadership abilities, and be capable of overseeing junior plumbers and apprentices on site.

Role involves interpreting blueprints, coordinating with clients and teammates, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

Proven plumbing experience with strong knowledge of codes and regulations.
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead plumbing projects including new installations, remodeling, repairs and maintenance.
Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications for layouts.
Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations and safety standards.
Estimate materials, equipment and labor costs for projects.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members on requirements and timelines.
Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
Keep job sites clean and dispose of waste properly.
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drains, water heaters.
Cut, thread and bend pipes using advanced tools; weld or solder joints.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and provide solutions.
Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials; keep accurate records of work and progress.
Train and mentor junior staff; stay updated with industry trends and regulations.
