Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in a plumbing role.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects including installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to discuss project requirements, timelines, and progress.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using advanced tools and techniques.
• Weld, solder, or join pipes using approved methods.
• Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify and diagnose complex issues.
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure plumbing materials and equipment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Train and mentor junior plumbers, apprentices, and helpers.
