Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a Plumber IV to lead plumbing projects from installation to maintenance, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring code compliance. You will mentor junior staff, manage materials and costs, and collaborate with clients and contractors to meet deadlines.

The role requires 6+ years of plumbing experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic field environment. On-site work with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years experience in plumbing.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good communication, leadership, and organization.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing system layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to discuss project requirements, timelines, and progress.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using advanced tools and techniques.
• Weld, solder, or join pipes using approved methods.
• Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify and diagnose complex issues or defects.
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure plumbing materials and equipment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Train and mentor junior plumbers, apprentices, and helpers.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
