Job summary

Service Experts is seeking an experienced Plumber III to lead plumbing projects, perform advanced installations, repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. You will interpret blueprints, ensure code compliance, and supervise junior staff in a dynamic team environment.

Candidates should have extensive knowledge of plumbing codes, 4+ years in plumbing, and strong problem-solving while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in a plumbing role required.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members on requirements, timelines, and progress.
• Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools; weld, solder, or join pipes as needed.
• Perform thorough inspections to diagnose complex issues and troubleshoot effectively.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials; keep detailed records of work and progress.
• Provide training to junior staff; stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
