Job summary

Monaloh Basin Engineers Inc is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Professional Land Surveyor (PLS or SIT) licensed in PA, OH, or WV to lead transportation and land surveying projects in Pittsburgh.

The ideal candidate will oversee projects from proposal through completion, manage client relationships, supervise staff, ensure quality, budgets, and schedules, and prepare and seal survey deliverables.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and PennDOT/Turnpike projects is highly valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Mapping, or related field.
PLS license in PA, OH, or WV (PA preferred).
5–10+ years of progressive land surveying experience.
Strong field and office surveying experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and modern survey software.

Responsibilities

Manage transportation, boundary, topographic, and right-of-way survey projects from inception through completion.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships.
Lead, mentor, and develop survey field and office personnel.
Prepare, review, and seal survey plats, right-of-way plans, and related deliverables.
Establish property boundaries, easements, and rights-of-way through deed research and title interpretation.
Coordinate project schedules, staffing, budgets, and quality control.
Ensure compliance with PennDOT, Turnpike, and applicable standards.
Collaborate with engineers, utility owners, municipalities, and project stakeholders.
